The Company
An established name in their sector our client is consistently winning new contracts and growing.

Due to this continued growth and expansion they are looking for an experienced Sales Ledger/ Accounts Receivable Assistant who is keen to develop and be a keymember of their busy, friendly finance team.


The Role
Reporting to the Management Accountant you will be a key member of this small finance team. You will be responsible for the sales ledger and credit control function.

You will liaise with customers resolving queries on outstanding payments, working closely withinternal stakeholders to resolve any issues with debt.

Once received, you will allocate cash to the sales ledger and reconcile the sales ledger at month end.

Primary duties include:

  • Supporting Sales Ledger daily processing activities, i.e. invoicing and customer receipting
  • Credit control activities
  • Reconciliation of Customer Accounts
  • Maintaining Sales Ledger reporting
  • Support other finance team members with their daily tasks
  • Work on adhoc projects to help develop a proficient finance department


As the successful applicant you will have previous experience in a similar Accounts Receivable/Sales ledger role, with a proven track record of working to tight deadlines.

You must also have good Excel experience, strong stakeholder manager ability and excellentcommunication and administrative skills. Our client offer a supportive, friendly team in which to work where employees are really valued.
