Description

We are looking for Machine Operators to work with one of the UK's leading and most recognised food manufacturers.

A Machine Operator should be able to complete physical duties and complete problem-solving tasks these may include:

Maintaining a safe work environment and monitor equipment.
To ensure that the weights, vacuum, torque and codes for each product is correct.
To ensure that the labels and packaging is correct for the product
To carry out and understand the cleaning procedures.
To change over the machines for product and line changes.
To manufacture the product to the required specification, in a quality and hygienic manner.
Carrying out safety checks on the machinery
Following established rules and procedure
Lifting weight up to 20 kilograms

Shifts available:

22:00-06:00 - £14.08 per hour
Overtime paid x 1.25 after 37.5 hours and x 1.5 on 6th day

Located on the outskirts of Newport, we now provide a PSV transport to and from the place of work with pick up/drop off points in Cardiff and Newport if required at a cost of £3/day.
