As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Credit Control Specialist to join our team in Burnley.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and maintain accurate customer credit files.
  • Proactively monitor and chase overdue payments.
  • Conduct regular credit reviews and assess creditworthiness of customers.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments and external clients regarding paymentrelated queries.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in billing and payments.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer concerns and facilitate timely payments.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on credit control activities to management.

The Successful Applicant:


Qualifications and Experience:


  • Proven experience in credit control or a related financial role.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk management and debt collection processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a resultsoriented mindset.
  • Previous experience within a logistics/manufacturing business would be beneficial.
