As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Credit Control Specialist to join our team in Burnley.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate customer credit files.
- Proactively monitor and chase overdue payments.
- Conduct regular credit reviews and assess creditworthiness of customers.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external clients regarding paymentrelated queries.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in billing and payments.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer concerns and facilitate timely payments.
- Provide regular updates and reports on credit control activities to management.
The Successful Applicant:
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience in credit control or a related financial role.
- Strong understanding of credit risk management and debt collection processes.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a resultsoriented mindset.
- Previous experience within a logistics/manufacturing business would be beneficial.
