Head of External Affairs


Salary:
c. £65-75k (Dependant on Skills and Experience)


Location:
Westminster, London, with agile working


Working Hours:35 hours per week


Contract Type:
Fixed Term Contract, 12 months covering maternity leave.

The National Farmers' Union (NFU) is the biggest farming organisation in the UK.

Purpose of the role & how you will contribute:

This crucial role places you front and centre in the NFU's interactions with UK politicians, policy-makers, NGOs and campaign groups.

Leading a brilliant team, based at our office in Westminster, the Head of External Affairs is a key figure in the organisation's lobbying and campaigning activities.


The role provides strategic leadership across our external affairs strategy, leading the NFU's campaigning and lobbying voice aimed at parliamentary audiences, whilst capitalising on new opportunities to raise the NFU's profile.
