12 Months Fix Term Contract
35 hours per week
Monday-Friday
Salary £27, % salary increase after 12 months)

Hybrid Role - flexible location, however occasional travel to Carlisle, Liverpool, Hull or Leicester is required

As the role holder, you will develop and coordinate projects and initiatives to reduce fuel poverty, including building suitable links to external organisations who can provide direct support to customers with fuel poverty and fuel debt.

You will Provide information and advice relating to affordable warmth both internally to staff and externally to tenants and residents

Job Profile


Develop and coordinate projects and initiatives to reduce fuel poverty, including building suitable links to external organisations who can provide direct support to customers with fuel poverty and fuel debt.

Promote energy saving solutions to customers and link in with our Asset Services team with the development of decarbonisation solutions that will assist customers in addressing fuel poverty.

Promote energy efficiency to tenants and residents, liaising with repairs and development teams to highlight the value and importance of technical and cost saving measures


Role requires you to:


  • Work in partnership with locally based staff to promote projects and initiatives that will enable customers to tackle fuel poverty.
  • Research existing initiatives and develop locallevel action plans which will guide activities.
  • Develop strong relationships with frontline colleagues and Tenant and Resident Groups to coordinate Riverside's approach to fuel poverty.
  • Provide information and advice relating to affordable warmth both internally to staff and externally to tenants and residents and local community organisations.
  • Build links to external organisations and signpost customers who require support with fuel poverty and managing fuel debt.
  • Assist tenants and residents to access local sources of savings, loans, grants, and other energy related support.
  • Work with local organisations to develop, source funding for, and coordinate projects and initiatives aimed at reducing fuel poverty.
  • Host and attend events relating to energy efficiency, fuel poverty and wider financial inclusion work.
  • Collate and promote best practice in energy efficiency and liaise with marketing to promote the work of the affordable warmth team both internally and externally.
  • Develop performance indicators relating to affordable warmth, and record and monitor performance data.
  • Report of performance to relevant forums.
