Salary:
£17.00 per hour standard rate, £18.50 per hour weekends, £34.00 per hour bank holidays

As a member of our Support Team, you will be passionate about making a difference to someone's life. Your primary purpose will be to support an autistic young person with complex needs and Multi

Sensory Impairment, to live a meaningful and happy life.

You will succeed because

You're an experienced, empathetic and resilient Support Worker who has experience of supporting individuals with learning disabilities, complex needs and sometimes challenging behaviour.

Ideally you will also have experience of Multi-Sensory Impairment including deaf-blindness.

You will be deeply committed to assisting people with additional needs to live fulfilled lives. You're compassionate, observant, patient and confident in handling potentially difficult situations. You are skilled in monitoring changes in mood and developing techniques to calm and de-escalate. You're able to communicate clearly and sensitively with vulnerable people and their families, and always adopt a person-centred approach.

You enjoy promoting independence, providing reassurance and enabling confidence to individuals with complex needs. You will have the chance to develop through specialist MSI training.
