Production Supervisor - Permanent - Telford

L & C Consulting are recruiting on behalf of a manufacturing company in Central Telford who are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join them on a permanent basis.

This permanent role will suit an experienced Production Supervisor / Production Team Leader / Production Manager who is looking for a new challenge at stable, successful company on days (continental shifts, 06:00 - 18:00) where you'll work closely with a variety of other departments.

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

Ensure all production processes are adhered to
Resource and asset management
Monitor and improve processes
H&S, ISO9001 and hygiene
Workflow and manpower scheduling
Minimise scrap and wastage
Production Manager cover
Support staff training and development

To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you MUST have a good level man-management experience in a production environment and be happy working to targeted KPIs and timescales.

You will have strong leadership & motivational skills, be IT literate, have excellent communication skills and be calm under pressure including when handling disciplinary matters.

The Telford site is commutable from Shrewsbury, Market Drayton, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Perton, Newport, Bridgnorth, Ironbridge etc
