As a
Marketing Planning & Practices Manager you will play a key role in driving the overall marketing strategy and budget planning of the Corporate Marketing Communications team.

This role works closely with all marketing functions across SITA involving project management, tracking marketing efforts and budget control.

What you will do

You will:

  • Support and drive of the strategy process in the Corporate Marketing Communications team and further across the SITA Marketing functions.
  • Working with the Head of Marketing Planning & Practices ensure strategic priorities are aligned with Business Goals delivering trackable marketing efforts.
  • Drive the marketing & communications budgeting process ensuring a tight resource allocation and budget management.
  • Ensure the Marketing Plan implementation and delivery remains aligned throughout the year across SITA.
  • Work across the business to monitor change in business requirements and market forces to adjust strategy.
  • Work closely across the SITA Marketing function to identify and share best practice case studies and return on investment.
  • Project manage and support companywide strategic initiatives and forums from growth marketing, employee engagement, brand communications and more.
  • Champion and develop best practice processes and approach to delivering campaign, communications and creative strategies.
  • Align the internal and external communications editorial calendar across the business.
  • Develop a governance structure for the SITA Internal Communications Agency.

You will manage projects:


  • Manage projects effectively and efficiently (including issues, risks and dependencies) from brief through to completion.
  • Always seeking to add value and be extraordinary in everything we do; create clear, ownable project plans with clear responsibilities and deliverables.
  • Understand and be familiar with the types of work and resource across the business to be able to have informed conversations with stakeholders and the team to support and challenge appropriately.
  • Produce quality and clear timing plans to ensure we manage and deliver on stakeholder expectations. Keeping in touch with the stakeholders with updates as necessary. Maintain the highest standards of communication and professionalism with all stakeholders.
  • Anticipate risks or issues and negotiate deadlines or agree priorities where they conflict.
  • Manage project progress proactively in accordance with agreed budgets, resolving issues through initiating appropriate corrective action.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate reporting and escalation of critical issues as appropriate.
  • Effectively manage any external resources and ensure all external costs are accounted for; negotiate supplier terms and costs as needed.
  • Be aware of and effectively manage change within projects.

Qualifications:


Who you are

  • 5+ years' experience of managing significant projects within a complex organisation.
  • A customerfirst growth mindset and a service disposition our customers are also our colleagues.
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, and KPI tracking.
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading crossfunctional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A selfstarter who is confident under pressure, comfortable in dealing with ambiguity and track record of managing multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Knowledge of project management best practices, processes and tools.
  • Highly organised and have an ability to multitask and align multiple stakeholders across different parts of the business effectively.
  • Experience of managing and monitoring budgets.
  • Strategic & tactical project management, planning, control, managing risk, completion and integration
