Henley Business School at the University of Reading, is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Accounting, who will undertake international-level academic research and the development, delivery and leadership of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the area of accounting, with associated responsibilities in administration and outreach activities.

You will:

  • Conduct independent research in the broad area of accounting and financial management;
  • Teach a range of modules in accounting as well as in the broad area of accounting and financial management as agreed by the Head of Business Informatics, Systems and Accounting (BISA);
  • Take on administrative duties and academic citizenship activities appropriate for his/her expertise and experience.

You will have:

  • Demonstrable ability to publish in leading international peerreviewed academic journals
  • Demonstrable ability to conduct independent research leading to significant academic and professional impact
  • Demonstrable ability to teach at a high standard at UG and PG level, and to a variety of audiences
  • Research capability demonstrated through publications in high quality journals and conferences,
Specialist knowledge of accounting and related areas sufficient to be able to provide teaching
