Join us as a Customer Service Associate, Business Lending

  • By providing a proactive and reactive service, you'll help our business customers to meet their financial arrangements and goals
  • We'll look to you educate customers about the different ways they can bank and support them to choose the right service options which match their needs

  • We're offering this role until 30th November 2023 and, depending on your experience, you'll be rewarded with a salary starting at £30,218 per annum and our excellent benefits package

What you'll do:


As a Customer Service Associate, Business Lending, you'll manage customer lending requests and queries either on the telephone or through our digital channel in an accurate and timely manner.

With excellent communication and rapport building skills, you'll be able to identify the best service options and lending solutions for our customers.


You'll also be:

  • Supporting our business objectives while promoting our selfservice options
  • Participating in individual feedback sessions and performance conversations
  • Gathering information to understand our customers' requirements and to offer suitable solutions
  • Participating in team activities, such as coaching less experienced colleagues

The skills you'll need:

It's important that you hold work experience within a customer service environment to help deliver great customer service.

Through your outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, you'll have the ability build valued relationships with a diverse range of people.


You'll also need:

  • Knowledge of business banking processes, products and services
  • The ability to manage risks and follow regulatory, operational and control processes
  • Good computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
  • An understanding of customers' financial requirements to support their business to thrive
  • Good time management and organisational skills
