Assistant Accountant - Central London/hybrid working - Temporary assignment - Up to £22 p/h
Key responsibilities:
- Entering all Purchase invoices into CRM software Odoo, obtaining approval for payment
- Setting up payment runs
- Entering invoices and prepayment journals
- Assisting in the preparation of VAT returns
- Implement strong internal processes and controls with free rein to implement, automate and improve the finance function and its systems
- AR/AP management, processing/issuing invoices while ensuring proper and appropriate controls and processes management on behalf of the finance function
- Bank reconciliations
- Monthly Intrastat returns
- Ad hoc financial tasks at the request of the Financial Controller
Key skills:
- ACCA/CIMA part qualified or equivalent
- Previous experience as a part qualified accountant
- Excel skills essential. Excellent numerical, accuracy and attention to detail
- Well organised, detail oriented with ability to work under pressure; meet deadlines whilst managing multiple concurrent tasks
- Strong organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
