The Partnership Product Office plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimising the execution of the Partnership.

As a central hub, the PO is responsible for establishing the governance, ensuring alignment of objectives, and facilitating effective communication between LSEG and Microsoft.

The PO is responsible for the overall governance of the Partnership through the Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Business reviews which drive value-creation and ensure alignment between LSEG and Microsoft.


Purpose:

Supports the governance and reporting for the Partnership Office including risk, financial and resource reporting and drives a consistent and effective approach to programme management across all workstreams within the Partnership.

- Reporting to the PMO Director, this role provides project management support, governance and assurance services as part of the Partnership Office and wider workstreams.

- Working closely with the workstream PMOs, the PMO Lead role is responsible for providing all primary PMO services, including but not limited to support on workstream level: o Planning and schedule management, o Financial management (including resource effort and purchase costs), o Resource management, o Risk and Issue management, o Reporting, data analysis and communications, o Governance and change control, and o Quality assurance.

- Report on the delivery risk within the Partnership workstreams and enforces LSEG Group Standards for governance and risk management and the LSEG Microsoft Partnership Operations Manual standards - Report on the overall Partnership pipeline, providing accurate resource demand and supply data analysis to drive resource optimisation - Supports the preparation of workstream status reports, keeping management appraised of workstream progress through Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), major risks and issues and scope and resource changes - Supports the annual portfolio budget capital allocation and investment planning process and regular financial reviews to track key financial portfolio metrics - Provides visibility around the holistic workstream health and reporting, tracking and reducing delivery risk at a workstream and overall Partnership level - Maintains the integrated delivery plan for the workstreams and supports the change management processes, policies and best practices.

- The PMO Lead will also provide supplementary training to PMs/PMOs on LSEG Microsoft Partnership Project Management standards as and when appropriate and provide quality assurance on the output reports and data inputs.

Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Schedule Management - The PMO Lead will support with: o The creation and maintenance of the delivery schedule, milestones and tasks in the relevant scheduling tool(s) o Identification and tracking of dependencies between the delivery milestones and tasks o Maintenance of the delivery schedule baseline in the relevant scheduling tool(s) o Tracking the status of delivery milestones/OKRs and tasks against the plan - Provide quality assurance reviews of the milestone and task information in the relevant scheduling tool(s) for completeness, being up to date, and language and style, in line with the established LSEG standards of project management

  • Strong knowledge and experience of formal project management methodologies, project planning, and project financial and resource management
  • Strong computer literacy, including advanced knowledge of the MS Office suite of projects, and a willingness and skill to learn new tools quickly
  • Excellent documentation skills; ability to create high quality steering committee materials
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organisational levels
  • Management of data and proficiency with project management and reporting tools such as Clarity PPM or other similar PPM tools
  • Willingness and ability to challenge and coach project managers on information consistency, quality, and standards Preferred
  • Global experience working successfully with teams in multiple locations simultaneously
  • Experience in large investment banking or financial services organisations
  • Experience and knowledge of supporting a large number of projects
