Gi Group Scarborough have a great opportunity for a Management Accounts Technician who will fit in to the Accounts team.

This is a new role and will be key part of the Finance Management team based in Redcar.

Do you want to be part of a friendly and supportive team helping to shape the future of asset accounting? We're looking for a Management Accounts Technician who'll fit right in with our clients motivated and committed Finance team.

You will be part of the Management Accounts team supporting the general accounting and budgetary control cycle but with a focus on both fixed asset and development accounting.

You will initially support the Capital Accountant in these key areas of work andas such have knowledge and experience of fixed asset accounting, maintenance of fixed asset registers and the monitoring of capital works.

We expect to rotate work and responsibilities and therefore an adaptable approach to changing work requirement is required.
This role is both challenging and exciting requiring an individual who is AAT qualified/qualified by experience.

You will have excellent?planning and analytical abilities and a high level of computer literacy, with the ability to pick up new systems quickly.

Able to deal with a multitude of varied tasks within tight timescales, you will work well under pressure and be organised with good verbal and written skills.
