Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support and assistance to an individual in their home.

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Hours & Pay:
£15 per hour (This role is self employed)

Monday to Friday 10am until 1pm

Monday to Friday evenings 5:30pm until 8:30pm

Saturday & Sunday 5:30pm until 8:30pm

Sunday Mornings if nesessary

(Shift Patterns can be flexible, so please specify your needs at interview process)

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Dog walking
Coffee Trips & shopping duties
Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying up
Accompany clients to appointments and outings
Assist with mobility and transfers
Follow care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to the appropriate parties
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Maintain accurate documentation of services provided

Skills & Experience:

Basic DBS is required and an Enhanced DBS is desirable
You must hold all Right to Work in the UK documents
At least 2 years previous experience in care
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client locations
Knowledge of care home procedures is a plus
