Junior Product Manager (Hybrid) - London - £excellent
Our client is a well-established retail company based in London.
Due to continued growth and expansion our client is looking to recruit a Junior Product Manager whose responsibility will be to support the Product Development Team, primarily coordinatingsuppliers for distribution through our clients sales channels.
On a day-to-day basis, you will liaise with global suppliers, test houses, IP attorneys, and engage with internal departments.You will also participate in weekly progress meetings with different departments and help present new product opportunities fromour suppliers to the business.
Working 3 days from home and 2 office based.Duties include:
- Generating cost sheets & memo notes for review in product selection meetings.
- Market research and competitor analysis.
- Creating accurate product briefs for internal design and marketing teams.
- Product assessment reports
- Liaising with internal Technical team members and thirdparty test houses for independent testing of products.
- Assistance with the management of compliance certification and regulatory issues.
- Accurate file management.
- Product management and storage.
- Line manager support.
- Assisting Customer service and Sales team requests.
- Product data entry to D365 system.
Skills required:
- Product Management/Coordinator experience in the FMCGs industry.
- Strong communicator at all levels, with excellent presentation skills.
- Highly numerate, with experience in buying; and good negotiation skills.
- Systematic, highly organised, proactive individual with a clear understanding of the product management cycle, who can plan and prioritise according to business requirements.
- Reliable, selfmotivated individual with a positive cando attitude who is resultsdriven.
- Excellent problem solver and forwardthinking individual that can work well on their own or as part of a team to achieve positive results on assigned tasks.
- Keen attention to detail and looks to achieve highlevel quality results in all that you do.
- Selfmotivated, adaptable, and can work well under tight deadlines while often managing several projects concurrently.
- Excellent in Microsoft 365 programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with CRM and UK advertising standards, is desirable but not essential.
