We have recently announced the creation of Pilgrim's Shared Services, a fourth stand-alone company, which will bring together some of the support functions of our current three businesses (Moy Park, excluding France and Netherlands, Pilgrim's UK & Pilgrim's Food Masters).

Its purpose is to deliver a high-quality shared service to those three businesses.


As the business grows, this shared service will broaden opportunities for career development as part of a far larger organisation.

We will also continue our investment in technology to drive efficiencies and improved ways of working.

A dedicated Transactional Services team will be created to deliver a high-quality and cost-effective service to the Business Units. Reporting to the IT Manufacturing Delivery Manager, we are pleased to advise that we are now recruiting for a

MES Specialist.

The Role
To define and enhance existing and new IT solutions by ensuring they effectively align with the business needs.

These projects include the implementation, development or enhancement of integrated business systems, exploiting business systems potential and engaging in business systems development and analysis.


The remit of the role includes ensuring that processes are well defined and communicated, identifying skills that people require to successfully fulfil their role, identifying and addressing change requirements that ensure there is a supportive management approach, ensuring systems address business requirements and supply the relevant information needed to run the organisation.

It also includes providing technical support to ensure the timely resolution of support issues in the live systems environment.


What You'll Need

  • Experience working as a Business Analyst or similar role(s)
  • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal as well as interpersonal, organizational and Presentation skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with key business stakeholders
  • Ability to influence peers and senior stakeholders
  • Analytical skills & critical thinking
  • Confident, selfmotivated and be able to work unsupervised.
  • Business Systems & Process Modelling; Data Modelling.
  • Managing Business Change.
  • Customer and delivery focused with a problemsolving approach.
  • IT principles and technical understanding.
  • Ability to simplify and standardise solutions.
  • Takes ownership, personal responsibility and leads from the front.
  • Motivates others and performs well in pressurised situations.
  • Ability to travel and work in locations across UK and Europe.
