Nonacus Ltd, is a privately held company developing innovative molecular diagnostics products, combining reagents and software, for the International clinical market.
We specialise in the use of cell free DNA to inform clinical decisions with a particular focus on liquid biopsy.
We are looking to recruit an experienced, skilled and enthusiastic Procurement Lead to work within the existing team providing support and leadership.
Working with internal and external stakeholders, the Procurement Lead will support the business to deliver on necessary projects and contribute to the success of the companies planned growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Performing all procurement activities including prequalification/ supplier approval, negotiating supplier agreements and preparation of contracts in line with evolving business requirement.
- Liaising with key internal stakeholders to determine product and service requirements, and handling purchasing requests for Nonacus Ltd. and Informed Genomics Ltd.
- Maintain and regularly review record of approved supplier information, including relevant ISO certification and accreditations
- Developing strong relationships with business stakeholders and strategic supply partners to improve business outcomes, negotiate competitive pricing structures
- Using ERP system and working with logistics and warehousing team to maintain supplies of key consumables and equipment based on stock levels and established trigger points in line with operational requirements
- Work with R&D/ product development team to establish relations with key suppliers, raise orders for equipment and research materials and ensure strong communications to ensure deliverability within project timeframes
- Ensuring all work carried out within QMS/ISO framework, maintaining compliance, and taking corrective action for nonconformances
Person requirements:
- 3+ years+ experience of procurement and purchasing
- Life sciences background / knowledge of industry is strongly desirable
- Experience working with an ERP system framework (Oracle / Netsuite, SAP etc.)
- Experience of contract negotiation and performance monitoring
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise according to evolving business requirements
- Ability to identify potential cost savings and track record of achieving this
- Strong attention to detail and maintaining good record keeping practices
