    Reporting directly to the Head of Reward Partners & Change, you will act as a critical partner, providing a proactive reward service, SME advice and solutions which support the achievement of business goals for our Group functions.

    As well as being the face of the Reward team to the business you will also support the ongoing development of our remuneration framework, policies and practices and play an active role in both Reward and business wide projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Reward Partners & Change, the Reward team, wider HR and business leaders to develop and implement reward strategy and solutions across the Phoenix group.
  • Supports the ongoing evolution of our remuneration framework, policies, practices and processes.
  • Plays an active role in Reward projects and takes the lead on Reward matters in business change projects including mergers and acquisitions and TUPE situations.
  • Be able to prioritize multiple demands and business needs and connect related projects, policies and systems.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of reward trends and topics, understanding the impact they could have on our business and proactively addressing these.
  • Play your part in the annual reward cycles including: salary benchmarking, grading, benefits management, flexible benefits renewal and annual compensation events such as the bonus and salary review.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills with experience of partnering with the business.
  • Broad knowledge of Reward structures and practices including cash compensation and benefits, ideally within Financial Services.
  • Experience of providing Reward SME advice and support in M&A, TUPE and change projects, challenging senior leaders as appropriate.
  • Indepth understanding of, and ability to effectively communicate, the link between reward practices and business objectives.
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills to ensure appropriate reward solutions are developed to address business problems.
  • Demonstrates creativity and innovation in approach to problems.
  • Excellent project management skills.
