We're currently recruiting for a Building Surveyor, to support the investment team with the delivery of disabled adaptions to Stockport Homes properties, private sector properties and projects.
The key purpose of this position is to focus on the four main key areas: customer satisfaction, quality control, health and safety and providing the teams with technical support and advice.
You will assist the project leader with financial management and work closely with the Home Improvement Agency and occupational therapists to meet the resident's needs.
You will be responsible for the compliance with current building regulations such as Construction Design and Management regulations 2015, and statutory legislation and assist in the implementation of procedures, systems and monitoring arrangements.
- Experience working as a surveyor on functions such as adaptions, repairs, voids and refurbishment contracts
- Experience of working alongside contractors, monitoring quality, Health and Safety and cost
- Carry out feasibility surveys
- Experience of working on disability facilities grants
