Description

It is essential you hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions; or are about to successfully complete this course; and can provide evidence of working with people who have experienced common mental health problems such as depression and anxiety in a Primary Care setting.

You will also need to register with the relevant professional body upon graduation as it will be mandatory for PWP registration

There are exciting opportunities for Qualified PWPs (Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners) to be part of the Primary Care Health and Wellbeing Team and / or join our existing dynamic core IAPT Service.

Already offering psychological interventions to over 13,000 people in Sheffield each year; Sheffield IAPT is proud to have maintained our Primary Care GP base for delivering much of our work.

This is complimented by an extensive range of groups and short courses that routinely run in Sheffield.

The new Health and Wellbeing Team will further develop and deliver a range of adapted psychological interventions in primary care, within and across physical health condition pathways.
