We are looking for consultants who will further strengthen our capabilities and the solutions we can offer our clients, while taking a leading role in the team as we seek to double our Procurement & Supply Chain revenues over the next twelve months.


We have a dedicated team of Procurement & Supply Chain practitioners who have procured £30bn of spend delivering £2.5bn of savings over the last 4 years.

Our methodology combines commercial, market and technical expertise to optimise cost & performance for large capital programmes.


Our experts in procurement and supply chain management work closely with broader technical, delivery and consulting skills from across Arcadis, providing both best practice market insights and practical implementation advice.


Our end-to-end service offer includes:

Our clients in asset sectors are being bombarded by unprecedented and growing challenges that include inflation-driven cost escalation, an aging and diminishing workforce, and an increasingly constrained supply chain.

At the same time regulators and shareholders are expecting clients to deliver customer performance improvements and develop innovative approaches to deliver more sustainable solutions.

All these pressures are driving the need for increasingly optimised and efficient methods of delivering capital projects and ongoing revenue operations alike, creating a strong demand for Arcadis' delivery optimisation capabilities.

We are seeking a senior leader experienced in Public Sector Procurement Delivery to join our team and lead client-facing work, while also driving further growth in this exciting area.


Role accountabilities:

  • Development and delivery of Category and Procurement strategies for largescale multimillion/ billion £ publicsector infrastructure / construction / tech programmes, which:
  • Enable the successful delivery of complex built and natural asset infrastructure and construction projects
  • Serve to minimise the risk and maximise the opportunity presented by current and future macroeconomic market conditions
  • Are clearly aligned to business and project benefits, across dimensions of people, planet, and prosperity
  • Embody best practice procurement principals (e.g., UK Government Public Procurement Policy, UK Government Construction Playbook)
  • Communicate proposed strategy to C-Suite client executives and regulators, securing buyin to enable project progression
  • Lead client market engagement activities
  • Leading development of detailed procurement / tender documentation inclusive but not limited to SQ, ITT/ITN and pricing documents, and tender scoring /evaluation models
  • Lead the execution and delivery of procurement events through to contract award and mobilisation.
  • Accountability for people team through effective team leadership, coaching and development
  • Independent management of client projects through the project lifecycle, from solution design and activity planning, successful delivery and knowledge capture, plus opportunity development
  • Tackling complex supply chainrelated business problems across largescale consulting engagements, designing and implementing solutions that can demonstrate benefits and value delivered
