We are looking for individuals who have an interest in helping patients access the right care, at the right time and in the right place.

No previous experience of healthcare is require but would be helpful.


The post holder will work within the Primary Care Network (PCN) Team, providing coordination and administrative support to general practice teams and other members of the PCN such as social prescribers and health and well being coaches.

The post holder will be supporting the co-ordination of care for patients within Nottingham City Primary Care Networks. This will include identifying patients, contacting them and offering and booking them into relevant services.


The post holder will be primarily responsible for coordinating the PCN response to the Directed Enhanced Service requirements across PCN GP practices.

Within this there will be a strong focus on leading project work and collation of practice data.

It will include identifying and understanding patient cohorts, patient engagement and administrative tasks that support the smooth and effective running of the PCN.


The post holder will work within the PCN Team, providing coordination, administrative and support to the clinical teams and other members of the PCN.


The administrative support to the primary care network, will include activities such as organising meetings, recording minutes and action logging.

You will need to have excellent telephone communication to support our patients and also external providers such as care homes and safeguarding teams.

You will also be required to have excellent IT skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.

We need you to be enthusiastic and self-motivated.

You will be expected to work as a team but also using your own initiative.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has experience with SystmOne, as well as having a good understanding of healthcare, however full training, and development, will be provided.

Nottingham City General Practice Alliance (NCGPA) was formed in 2016. We are Nottingham City's first GP Federation, often referred to as NCGPA or the Alliance.

Our members consist of over 40 NHS GP practices in Nottingham city, who cover a population of over 336,000 patients.

We are the lead employer for our PCN based roles such as Clinical Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians Social Prescribing Link Workers and Health and Wellbeing Coaches.
