HR Project Manager/Operations


Rate:
£300 PAYE/ £330 Umbrella per day


Duration: 6 x Months


Location:
London (2-3 days in the office, 2-3 days from home)


As a highly motivated HR professional, you will play a key role the HR department across UK & Ireland to adhere to legislation and maximise our operational excellence.

This role has a certain degree of autonomy and works in partnership with HRD and broaderHRBP team, COEs and PS, with a high level of trust in quality and discretion expected.

You will ensure HR operational excellence with projects and initiatives that have a positive impact on company goals and objectives as well as on our culture of inclusionand the development of our people.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure coordination and management of multiple HR projects through their life cycle; devise project plans and ensure key milestones are identified, delivered, and communicated to key stakeholders
  • Partner with HRBPs on multiple projects such as Commercial Market Evolution, reorganizations and redundancy program.
  • Champion and embed a continuous improvement culture across the HR team (6Sigma training)
  • Provide data analysis, reporting and recommendations, working in partnership with the HRBPs, People Services, internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with HR Director, HRBPs, COE and People Services to ensure smooth delivery of key HR processes, identify areas of improvement and implement solutions
  • Partner with People Services to update myBMS as a result of change in global policy or changes driven by UK employment legislation
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, plan, lead, execute and manage projects that significantly grow our capacity, efficiency, and effectiveness in HR
  • Partner with cross functional teams to identify areas of risk, and simplify and streamline processes
  • Governance of HR policies and process in the HR handbook and on myBMS
  • Comply with appropriate legislation and policy in respect of confidentiality, information governance and security and GDPR
  • Lead and manage immigration compliance for the BMS Sponsor Licence with the UK Home Office and partner with Global Mobility and our external immigration stakeholders to ensure BMS remains fully compliant and adheres to its 'A' rated sponsor licence obligations
- this activity is under review for transfer to PS/Global Mobility

  • Assess health needs and interests of employee via EAP analytics, sickness absences, occupational health referrals and partner with H&W work streams to develop ideas, improvement, and execute solutions such as mental health guide, menopause guide and domesticabuse guide
  • Identify employee health needs, determine potential risks, and manage occupational referrals & income protection insurance claims to ensure employees have timely access to effective health support and coach managers on recommendations and adjustments this activity to be assessed this activity is under review in terms of labor law requirements and for transfer to EHS
  • Represent the HR team on EHS committee meetings and engage other business functions and people services as required
  • Lead and manage contingent workforce bonus and IR 35 consultants and collaborate with Agile One as needed
  • Drive the transition of the new hire process and on boarding checks (background, preemployment medical & Right to Work check) to a new process in line with the HR Operating Model of employee and manager direct access
Jr HR Business Partner Responsibilities for Medical function will include:

  • Provide strategic HR guidance to the UKI commercial/global functions and partnering with their teams and management to anticipate and address business priorities related to the implementation of BMS people strategy.

Support the mentioned organizations on:

  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Identify and support the implementation of future workforce and organizational capabilities needed in order to execute strategic business priorities.
  • Strategic Talent Management: Enable the organization to attract, develop, engage and retain talent.
  • Organizational Effectiveness: Understand business needs and ensure strong partnership to design the correct organization structures, capabilities and people practices to create an effective and efficient organization capable of achieving business strategy.
  • Ensure appropriate change management is in place in order to drive organizational success.
  • Partner with the rest of the HR team (HRBPs and HR Advisor) to ensure strong HR collaboration across the team.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred) in HR

CIPD Level 7 Advanced Diploma qualified

Experience working with senior level stakeholders, including proven ability to build alignment and influence others in a matrix environment

Project management skills and successful track record in process design and implementation

Demonstrable growth mindset when receiving and giving feedback, and a desire for self-development and learning

Substantial experience in human resource in an international environment
