Daily Sits - break cover for Live in Carers

We are looking for Carers that are
local to Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset area to cover daily sits in a variety of packages that we are currently running.

You must be able to drive as you will be covering the regular carers daily breaks.

This gives you the chance to have some variation with service users without taking away your relationship building as you will be returning.

You will be paid £13 per hour on week days and £15 an hour on weekends this includes your travel time between package of care plus mileage is covered at 45p per mile.

You will be supporting our customers in a variety of ways depending on their needs.

There is a requirement to give at least 2 weekends availability per month.


This includes:

• Providing Companionship
• Assisting with personal care
• Assisting with mobility this may include hoists, stand aids or stairlifts
• Overseeing medication
• Help around the home with household tasks such as cleaning and hoovering
• Preparing and cooking meals
• Running errands such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions

If you'd like to join our team you'll need to have:

• The right to work in the UK
• At least two professional references that cover your last year of employment in care
• Evidence of a minimum of two years' experience of working in the care sector
• A friendly, caring and supportive nature
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to help others
• Excellent level of English, both written and spoken
