This is a Monday - Friday shift-based role, covering day, evening and night shifts during a rolling shift pattern as follows: Week 1, 06:00-14:00, Week 2 14:00-22:00, Week 3 22:00-06:00.

Depending on personal circumstances, there is some flexibility with shift patterns and timings.


Salary:
£33,260 with a competitive benefits package.

Your future role
You'll report to the Materials Team Leader, working alongside two material handlers based at our Reading site.

As well as the day to day, you'll be involved in interesting projects such as the Heavy Maintenance Overhaul which begins in July '23.

We have yearly overhaul programmes and modification programmes to be carried out over the duration of contract to June '28.

The role is centred around providing a materials service to the customer to carry out maintenance and overhaul programmes. This consists of the booking in and out of materials through SAP. You'll support controllers through stock counts, planning and kitting of exams. You'll be forklifting heavy materials and assisting the customer and external sites with the efficient transfer of materials.


We'll look to you for:


  • Providing a service to the customer and providing them with specific requirements
  • Booking in and booking out material using SAP
  • Support Material Controllers with counts, exam kitting and repairs
  • Forklift material when required using a counterbalance
  • Assist with Material engineering and Material Overhaul projects
