Cyber Security Engineer

CRG Recruitment are working with a global client based in the Chester area who are looking to recruit a
Cyber Security Engineer.

Please note this role is offering a hybrid working model with 2 days per week on site.
As the IT Security Engineer you will,

Report to the IT Cyber Security Manager and inline with global IT Cyber Security Policies enable the development of security standards within the Operational Technology (OT) and IT teams
Be a motivated selfstarter capable of working with mínimal supervision
Be adaptable to changing circumstances and environment
Ensure the ongoing compliance of systems to Cyber Security policies and architectural patterns and standards
Recommend security controls and identify solutions that support a business objective
Provide specialist advice and recommend approaches across teams and various stakeholders
Be cognizant of the differing legislative requirements and challenges facing a global organisation
Communicate widely with other stakeholders
Advise on important securityrelated technologies and assess the risk associated with proposed changes
Inspire and influence others to execute security principles
Help review other people's work

Ideal skills to have experience in,

Azure experience especially around identity management and Defender services
Defender for endpoint
Fortinet firewalls
Any SecOps experience especially around vulnerability management
AWS (more of a nice to have)
