WHAT TO EXPECT


The position of Agile Ops Specialist will see you being responsible for building strong relationships within the procurement function and stakeholders at all levels.

You will act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and essentially represent the procurement function, with a focus to support sourcing and planning to ensure the correct understanding of project priorities to enable a focus on critical path timing.


As an Agile Ops Specialist, you will be responsible for providing data to the Digital Procurement department, ensuring strategy and sourcing requirements for programme delivery are planned and understood.

Whilst being executed to the correct standard. Using measurable factors such as, cost, quality and time.


This position will play a vital role with contributing to the future strategy of Jaguar Land Rover and will create various opportunities to collaborate with different teams within the digital procurement function
.



WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Essential:

  • Experience in complex project management and procurement environment
  • Experience in a procurement/purchasing environment.
  • Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management
  • Experience in collaboration and / or working cross functionally to meet team objectives.
  • Strong analytical, influencing and problemsolving skills with the ability to make autonomous decisions.
  • An individual who is focused on delivering results.
  • An individual who is personable with ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Logical and analytical approach to problem solving.
  • A true crossfunctional team player, who actively develops and supports team members.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to understand and interpret business requirements and identify potential risk/impact from a Procurement perspective.
  • Highly agile with ability to manage and deliver multiple work streams within tight deadlines.
  • Excellent computer skills specifically in Microsoft Excel

Desirable:

  • Experience within the automotive industry
  • Experience or Certification in working/using an Agile methodology e.g., SAFe.
  • Formal project management or PMO qualification or relevant training.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


An Agile Ops Specialist you will be responsible to lead the engagement with stakeholders to understand programme/project requirements and the development & delivery of those requirements in line with overall business strategy.

As well as this, you will represent the procurement function through programme operational meetings and ensure commercial inputs and outputs are actioned in accordance with project requirements.


Other Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible to ensure Procurement processes are adhered to and lead the development and continuous improvement of business process as required to support project delivery.
  • Responsible to produce accurate data and concise management reporting, in line with the major programmes and project workstreams.
  • Responsible to lead the reporting to senior business leaders, on strategic programmes from a Digital Procurement perspective, clearly communicating the continued ability of procurement to meet their requirements.
  • Responsible to lead the appropriate communication with stakeholders, act as the escalation point within procurement for programmes that require issue resolution into senior stakeholders.
