Maidstone/ Tonbridge | Hybrid | £25,800 - £31,500Permanent | Full-time / Part-time | KR11696
As a Careers Advisor, you will deliver career information, advice and guidance (IAG) services to adults on various opportunities, such as learning, career paths and employment.
This position is a permanent, full-time or part-time post (minimum 22.2 hours per week)
This leading charity seeks an IAG-qualified Careers Adviser to support its service delivery in the Maidstone and Tonbridge areas
Qualifications and Experience
- IAG qualification at Level 4 or above
- Essential
- Maths and English GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent)
- A commitment to undertake all necessary training for the role
- Experience in managing a caseload of adults/ young people from diverse backgrounds
- Awareness of the social and economic issues affecting people
Careers Adviser Main Responsibilities:
- You will work across the National Careers Service delivery area in job centres, libraries, colleges and community settings with groups or individuals.
- Some client contact will be via phone or video call.
- Deliver clear and unbiased information, advice and guidance (IAG).
- To provide IAG on all matters relating to learning and work, including employment, education and training
- Achieve a range of set quantitative and qualitative targets using a caseload management approach and effectively utilising the CRM
- Identify and engage with priority customer groups to identify barriers to their progression
- Support customers to produce a personal action plan
