We are actively recruiting for a Health and Safety Position based in Kettering working for a leading UK transport and logistics organisations who are looking to grow the Health and Safety Department due to growth of the business.


The position is working within the logistics and distribution industry and will involve being very operational with Health and Safety across the active location in Kettering.

You will be working closely with Transport Managers and Operational members of staff to help improve the safety culture across the site.


This role will be great for someone at the start of their Health and Safety Career who is willing to pursue the industry further.

Health and Safety Officer - Transport & Logistics - Kettering - £39,

  • You will be working in a fastpaced environment where every day is different offering you healthy challenges along the way

  • This role will report to an experienced Senior Health and Safety Manager who will mentor you and aid your progression throughout the business

As the Health and Safety Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Working with the site transport and distribution teams and implementing a proactive strategy to Health and Safety
  • Working on improving a positive Health and Safety Culture
  • Working closely with the workforce coaching them and improving overall engagement
  • Implementing new policies and procedures for the site and continuously improving the Health and Safety performance.
  • Investigating accidents and working on solutions to reduce the risk of recurrence

We would love to see CVs from people who have:

  • Some experience within a health and safety role.
  • Experience within health and safety legislation.
  • Logistics transport disputation experience
  • Ideally a NEBOSH general certificate although and an IOSH Managing Safely qualification can be considered
