Description

You will assist in delivering consent discharge and consent compliance during the pre construction and construction of our client's large offshore wind projects.

You will also work closely with the external consent specialist team. Interface with the SeniorConsent Manager and wider Project Team will also be required.

You will:

Understand the project commitments register and ensure DCO compliance with specific engineering packages. ,
Ensure that the Consenting strategy for DCO discharge of requirements is adhered to by packages as the coset specific Employers Requirements and that relevant milestones and required information are delivered to agreed program.
Coordinate engagement between the project and the relevant authorities and other stakeholders in relation to consent compliance requirements as required
Coordinate input from legal and environmental consultants in light of the above described consent compliance activities
Oversee offshore environmental surveys including acquiring licenses, planning, contractor management, engagement with stakeholders, management of specialists
Manage preparation and discharge of DCO / Marine License requirements and conditions as required

You will be required to promote a safety conscious environment.
Education and Experience

Demonstrable working knowledge of the UK marine consenting legislation and processes relevant for offshore wind projects, including consent compliance.
Experience of stakeholder liaison
University degree in a relevant field (eg environmental sciences) and at least 5 years' relevant work place experience
Excellent verbal and written communication
Excellent project management skills
Ability to work within an international team
