Role - Sales Advisor

Cardiff - St Catherines Trading Park CF24 2RZ
This role is working with Jewson Civils part of the STARK Group. We are a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe.

We connect suppliers of heavy building materials with the professional craftsmen who build, renovate, and maintain the cities of tomorrow.

You'll be working for Jewson Civils in Cardiff.

At Jewson Civils we supply materials for major infrastructure, housing, utilities and industrial/commercial development projects, ranging from pipe fittings and drainage to hard landscaping and street furniture.

But we are so much more than just a materials distributor.

  • Proven experience in a customer focused/sales environment
  • Ability to communicate and influence
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Knowledge of the industry preferred but not essential
  • Proficient MS Office skills

What will I be doing in the role?


Our Sales Advisors are important contributors to the performance of the business and to ensure our customers have a positive experience with us.

As part of an internal sales team, you will be expected to build relationships and develop sales opportunities with internal/external customers and suppliers.


To support our customers effectively you will:

  • First class customer service, building new and existing relationships
  • Follow up quotes and process customer orders
  • Answering customer calls and general ad hoc tasks
  • Ensure that the branch is the best provider of customer service locally and nationally as defined by the customer
