**Driver / Materials Handler
Horsham

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Driving the company van between predominantly two local sites
  • Loading and unloading the van in a secure manner, delivering and retuning materials
  • Being a part of the Stores team, ensuring departmental KPIs are achieved.
  • Review deliveries with recipients to ensure they are accurate.
  • Keep the company vehicle clean and always maintained, carry out vehicle safety checks.
  • Daily reporting of metrics.
  • Receive, check and receipt materials using ERP system.
  • Unload/load delivery vehicle using the company forklift truck as required.
  • Preparation of kitted parts for manufacture using ERP system.
  • Ensure stock is stored appropriately with correct labelling.
  • Control correct disposal of all unrequited material in accordance with COSHH/ISO14001 regulations.

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Clean, full UK Drivers Licence.
  • Experience driving Luton sized vehicle/equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse and stores experience desirable.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
  • Material handling experience.
  • Strong communication and written skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Computer skills.
  • Team player.
  • Bendi/Forklift licence desirable.
