My client in
London is looking for an experienced
Band 6 Histology Biomedical Scientist for a locum contract.


Job Role:

  • Monday
  • Friday
  • 37.5 hrs p/w
  • You will work in all areas of the Histology Laboratory and be involved in provision of the technical service.
  • You will participate in provision of Biomedical Scientist cutup as well as routine areas such as tissue sectioning and staining.
  • You will rotate through the specialist areas of the laboratory such as Immunocytochemistry and Molecular Pathology
  • You will be ensuring that the Department meets cancer targets and you will need to have experience of working in a team

Qualifications and Experience required:
-
HCPC registered as a BMS:

  • Specialist knowledge of Histology
  • Good Communication skills
  • Computer skills
  • Work as part of team
  • Undertake CPD
