Description
As a precision machining company (AS9100 certified) we are often tasked with supplying fabricated assemblies featuring CNC machined parts.

CNC machining is our main competency and to provide our customers with a more comprehensive service, we are looking to increase our in-house fabrication capabilities.

With our existing workload already justifying this move, we anticipate significant interest from both current and potential customers once we offer this increased fabrication capacity.


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated experienced Welder Fabricator to join our recently developed and rapidly growing welding and fabrication department within our precision engineering company.


Key Responsibilities:


Welding and Fabrication:

Support in welding and fabrication tasks, producing high-quality components.

Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure precise fabrication with strict adherence to tolerances.


Process Implementation:

Understand and implement efficient welding and fabrication processes, workflow systems, and quality control procedures.


Quality Assurance:

Conduct regular inspections of completed work to maintain the highest level of product quality.


Safety and Compliance:

Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and regulatory requirements related to welding and fabrication operations.


Requirements:

Proven experience as a welder fabricator, demonstrating a track record of high-quality and precise work.

Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and materials, with expertise in MIG and TIG welding.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with team members and senior management.

Commitment to safety and compliance.

Technical certifications or vocational training in welding and fabrication are highly advantageous.


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Salary:
£14.00-£17.00 per hour
