Description
Neighbourhood Policing (NHP) teams have now been established throughout the Force area.

Comprising of regular police officers, special constables, PCSOs and volunteers the teams work closely with partner agencies to tackle the issues that are of most concern to their communities.

They have a fundamental role in making neighbourhoods safer and building closer relationships between the police, partners and the public.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to provide secretarial and administrative support to the NHP teams, Neighbourhood Action Groups (NAGs), and Neighbourhood Watch coordinators.

In addition to ensuring that engagement plans, performance data and other relevant documents are kept up-to-date, you will work with local Communications teams to publicise NHP and NAG activity; provide access to Thames Valley Alerts system to notify subscribers to NHP team and NAG issues; perform minute-taking in various internal and public meetings; and maintain relevant information on the Force intranet pages.

Due to the LPA merger between Wycombe and Chiltern and South Bucks you will be expected to equally split your time between High Wycombe Police Station and Amersham Police Station.

As part of the Thames Valley Police family you will enjoy a fantastic range of benefits including 24 days annual leave per annum pro-rata for part time (plus Bank Holidays), flexible working conditions, a wide range of lifestyle discounts, career development opportunities and have the option to join a local government pension scheme.
