About The Role

Midbass Distribution are looking for an experienced and well-organized Export Sales Coordinator to provide the necessary support to the Export sales team.

Experience of proactive Sales administration / management in an Export Role is desirable.

An interest in audio or electronic consumer goods could be an advantage.


Responsibilities

• Accurately Manage the processing of customer orders and associated procedures to ensure timely deliveries to export customers.
• Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems with their orders
• Obtain shipping quotes and Liaise with Hauliers, and /or shipping and customs clearance agents to facilitate a smooth delivery process.
• Manage and handle nilstock and backorder situations alongside the Export Sales Managers to ensure customers are fully aware of any supply shortages.
• Respond to complaints from customers and give aftersales support when required.
• Assist in the promotion and presales of forthcoming product releases.
• Assist with and follow up promotional mailshots / special offers to customers to ascertain interest, liaising with the export sales managers.
• Seek and generate new leads in areas where Midbass currently have no business.
• Assist in the preparation and organizing of trade shows or dealer events.
• Ensure knowledge of and adherence to local laws and policies
• There may be times when occasional travel to oversees events / meetings is required.

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience in sales; experience as a sales coordinator or in other administrative positions will be considered a plus alongside knowledge of an exportbased Business.
• Good computer skills (MS Office / Excel and PowerPoint are desirable)
• Proficiency in English is a must, and additional language(s) would be considered an advantage.
• Wellorganized and responsible with an aptitude in problemsolving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A team playerwith high level of dedication, but also the ability to work on own initiative when required.
• A qualification in business administration or relevant field certification in sales or marketing would be considered an asset.
