Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic person to lead the Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Screening team at the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust.

The target screening population is men in their 65th year. The post-holder will work closely with the Vascular team and programme director.

The post-holder will need to have excellent organisation and IT skills.

They should be educated to degree level, and must be experienced in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.


Other essential attributes include fluent written & verbal communication skills, being highly organised, meticulous attention to detail and being able to prioritise his/her workload within a busy schedule.

A flexible approach to this interesting and rewarding work is essential to ensure the screening programme runs smoothly. Own transport will be necessary as some travel within the community will be required.
