Gloucester House is a substance use rehabilitation service supporting adult males who are in recovery.

We are committed to working in partnership with clients, families, funders and others to provide a specialist addiction recovery service, which is person centred and outcome focussed.


The role of Assistant Support Worker is an inspirational one and key to achieving successful outcomes for clients within our therapeutic recovery service.

You will provide assistance with delivering a high-quality programme of support which promotes client choice and control.

You will address clients support needs, enable them to make positive life choices and ultimately empower them to lead more sustainable lifestyles with a focus on sustained long term recovery.

You will complete day to day activities including administration tasks and reception duties to support the successful operation of the service.

You will have
- excellent communication, time management and administrative skills.
- a willingness to learn.
- a clear understanding of issues facing people in recovery.
- the ability to work in partnership with other agencies within the treatment system to achieve good outcomes for clients.
