We are the Christmas Tree Specialists.

A British brand with Scottish heritage, Pines and Needles are premier, sustainable Christmas tree growers and retailers in London and the South of England.

Our company has been trading for over 25 years and is known throughout the capital for the quality service we provide.

Christmas is fast approaching and we are looking to hire Store Managers for our pop-up stores across London.


Role & Responsibilities
The Sales Assistant role requires friendly, physically fit and dynamic people who love the outdoors.

This is a very fun and active job that requires heavy lifting and working in cold weather, potentially under the rain and snow This is a short term, full-time contract, which will start on the 24th of November and end on the 24th of December.


Sales Assistants are responsible for the following:

  • Generating product sales
  • Handling, pruning and packing a large display of 312 foot Christmas trees
  • Supporting customers throughout the purchasing process
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Maintaining tree displays and stock quality
  • Ensuring premier store presentation and cleanliness
  • Maintaining Pines and Needles policy and procedural standards

Skills & Attributes

  • Friendly Personality
  • Must be physically fit and strong for tree lifting
  • A love for the outdoors
  • Tolerance to cold environments
  • Willingness to wear a Scottish kilt
  • Positive, flexible and cando attitude
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficient in English
  • Able to work well under pressure in a very busy environment
  • Hospitality and retail experience are a plus but not mandatory

Expected Availability
You MUST be available to work a
minimum of 2, out of 3 of the following weekends:

  • November 26th, 27th
  • December 3rd, 4th
  • December 10th, 11th

Attire
Please note that staff are expected to bring their own waterproof footwear, black/navy leggings, gloves and warm raincoat.

The Role


Pines and Needles is seeking friendly, physically fit and dynamic people who love the outdoors and want to sell real Christmas trees at our attractive, carbon-positive pop-up stores around London.

This is a very fun and active job that requires heavy lifting and working in cold weather, potentially under the rain and snow


Dates
The season runs from around 24th Nov - 24th Dec. We have hundreds of positions to fill all over London.

You MUST be available to work a minimum of 02 the following 03 weekends:
Nov 26, 27

Dec 3, 4

Dec 10, 11

Weekday shifts will be awarded based on company needs and individual performance. Promotions will be awarded throughout the season to committed and hard-working staff.
