Are you experienced in providing complex clinical care with children or young people?
Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a young boy with complex care needs.
This is a great role where you will be supporting a child, who lives with his parents in Lancashire.
Our service user requires the support of a care team, both at home and within his educational setting.
He enjoys being creative in activities such as arts, crafts and baking. He also likes being outdoors and going for walks. You must be happy to get involved in his hobbies and interests whilst encouraging play and fun.
Throughout the night he can have unsettled sleep and you will be required to monitor and support him, ensuring he is safe and that all his needs are being met.
This is a personally rewarding role where you can build on your skills and experience, whilst delivering exceptional care to our service user, really making an impact on his day-to-day life.
Essential Experience Required
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration
- Clinical Care experience
Desirable Experience
- Epilepsy Care
- Seizure Management
- Rescue Medication
- Bowel Care
- PEG Feeding
- Behaviour Management
- UK Driving Licence
We have the following shifts available;
- Part Time 1630 hours per week
- Days
- 16 hours per week
- 4pm8pm & 12pm8pm
- Nights
- 10pm8am

Weekdays £12.00 per hour Approx. £60 per 5 hour shift
Weeknights £12.50 per hour Approx. £125 per 10 hour shift
Weekends £13.00 per hour Approx. £130 per 10 hour shift
Bank Holidays £15.00 per hour Approx. £150 per 10 hour shift
