Welfare Support operates a number of key services aimed at vulnerable Hartlepool residents experiencing financial hardship.

This includes Settling into the Community support, Discretionary Housing Payments, Household Support Fund and other welfare and benefit related support services.


The successful post holder will have experience of working with financially vulnerable people and an understanding of the welfare and benefit system.

They will largely work from an office base or on occasion in the community in order to see service users face to face where necessary.
