Marines Claims Handler

We are excited to be working with a key client, on their search for Marines Claims Handler to join the growing team.


_Responsibilities:
_

  • Management and adjustment of outsourced claims on TPA Accounts (Lloyd's & Company)
  • Maintaining claim reserves accurately
  • Preparing and issuing FNOL's
  • Updating claims bordereaux
  • Reporting to and helping the Claims Manager with any projects requiring assistance
  • Liaising with underwriters, surveyors, brokers, lawyers
  • Assistance with building client relationships and general marketing

Key Skills:_

  • 35 years experience within Marine Cargo / Freight Liability / Hull, Aviation and Small Craft/Yacht claims
  • A good understanding of marine insurance contracts
  • Ability to handle own case load and learn new skills
