Kenton Black Finance are delighted to offer the chance for an experienced Audit Senior to join their office in Liverpool that has consistently held a place in the top 30 of all accountancy firms.

This firm has a wide client base that are situated all over the UK but is able to keep a 'family type' feel to their environment.


THE FIRM
The firm has a turnover of £200m+ with a large emphasis on colleague well-being. They have superb environment within the office with the dress code being a comfortable business casual.

The staff are very sociable and regularly organise nights out between them, however management like to relax too and organise quarterly and annual Christmas parties.

YOUR DUTIES INCLUDE

  • Managing day to day conduct of an audit team both in the office and out at clients' premises.
  • Drafting financial statements and tax computations.
  • Carrying out audit procedures allocated to you and your team.
  • Resolving audit queries to the extent that you feel able to do so.
  • Keep the Executive/Manager informed of progress and of any significant matters as these arise.
  • Make suggestions for amendments to the assignment approach when you perceive more efficient means to the same end.
  • Facilitate the completion of the job by ensuring appropriate procedures are complied with
  • To assist in miscellaneous duties when required, including administrative duties such as photocopying and scanning documents.

ABOUT YOU

  • ACA/ACCA qualified/part qualified (Close to completion).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • A strong interest in owner managed businesses and general commercial awareness.
  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
