Employment basis:
The role is expected to be a full

Following on from the success of Hinkley Point C (HPC), the SZC Project is a nuclear new build project in Suffolk, which has obtained planning approval and Government financing support.

The project is now seeking private investment with a view to start construction in 2024.

When completed, it will provide dependable electricity to 6 million homes for 60 years, which along with renewables, will support Britain to achieve Net Zero by 2050.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Support Officer to join the Sizewell C Project

Our teams are set up to work flexibly, with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home.

We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively.


The Role

:


You'll support the Project Management teams in the delivery of engineering work by the Civil Works Alliance (CWA) and the engineering, procurement and manufacturing of key contracts.


As a Project Support Officer, you'll support your line manager with key interfaces with other project areas, especially the SZC supply chain team, the Responsible Designer (RD), the SZC quality team and the suppliers to prepare for and execute the delivery phase of the project.


You'll coordinate and record meetings with key project stakeholders (internal & external) and produce/assist in production of project documentation required to successfully deliver the project scope.

You'll work as an integral part of a team contributing to team success, communications and a positive working environment.


The Skills

:

You'll bring with you key experience in organising, communicating, and supporting senior teams within a fast-paced multi-faceted business.

Ideally, previous exposure gained in an Infrastructure, Engineering, Construction or any highly regulated environments would be advantageous although not a necessity.

You'll be able to manage competing priorities, tight timelines whilst upholding the upmost integrity and discretion in all work you carry out - attention to detail is key

You'll bring a detailed general administrative and secretarial knowledge to the position as well as the ability to adapt quickly and effectively to new and changing systems (if you've had previous experience of creating and implementing new systemsgreat)
