Reporting into the Board of Directors, this newly created role of Cold Chain Logistics Manager will have a varied remit and will be the driving force of an exciting new Pharma division being launched.


Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Execution of the Company's business plan to create and establish a new Pharma division, including recruitment, procurement, drafting SOPs & process mapping.
  • Using your industry knowledge to develop the business into a high quality service which is both sustainable and profitable.
  • Responsible for all aspects of running the division such as workload planning, training, ensuring adequate resources are in place to meet work levels, GDP compliance.
  • As with all roles throughout this fastpaced organisation, the role of Cold Chain Logistics Manager will be very much a handson position. We're expecting that no two days will be the same and you will be handling multiple topics and issues at once, requiringsuperb attention to detail skills and an indepth appreciation of Good Distribution Practice (GDP), particularly in the MHRA/Pharmaceuticals arena.
  • Working knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and an appreciation of the MHRA.
  • Proven/demonstrable experience in managing GDP compliant, Temperature Controlled freight movement.
  • Commercially minded, appreciating the needs and purpose of this brand new division with experience in business development.
  • A flexible, proactive and practical attitude.
Your core hours of work will be 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday. However, being a 24 hour operation we would ask for some occasional flexibility as per business needs.
