Fallen Stock Collector Driver/Slaughterman Required -
Warwickshire/Oxfordshire.

The Role
Responsibilities will include:
- Driving a company vehicle and operation of vehicle equipment.
- Completing the required work documentation (including driver & collection records).
- Ensuring the vehicle is well maintained & clean and undertaking required vehicle checks.
- Safe loading & unloading of vehicles.
- Collecting fallen stock from customer premises and transporting it back to site.
- Dispatching (kill) farm animals at customer premises using captive bolt (WATOK training & assessment for licence will be provided)
- Using firearms (if correct certificates/licenses are held) to dispatch farm animals.
- Ensuring that our clients and customers are always treated courteously and respectfully.
- Consistently meeting driver performance criteria requirements.
- Flexibility with regards to working days/hours upon request, to fulfil business requirements which may include Saturdays.
Requirements of the role:
- A full clean driving licence
- LGV Class 2 preferred, 7.5 tonne considered.
- A WATOK licence would be advantageous although not essential as the company will provide training.
- Relevant firearm certificates would be beneficial.
- Previous experience of working in an agricultural or fallen stock background.
- Smart appearance (uniform provided) and with a pleasant manner.
- Knowledge of vehicle operations.
- The ability to demonstrate understanding of driver hours rules (UK domestic).
- Driver CPC.
