Transport Fleet Administrator - Bristol, United Kingdom - iSupply Group
Description
iSupply Group are working in partnership with a well established national company that boasts a network of dairies and depots servicing customers throughout the country.
We are currently seeking a Fleet Administrator to join their compliance team based in Bristol, covering both Stonehouse & Bristol depots.
Role & Responsibilities
- Answering the telephone and dealing with vehicle breakdowns, booking of vehicles and trailers in to the workshop for rectification work, PMIs and MOTs
- Coordinating the maintenance of vehicles including raising job cards through the use of a garage software; liaising with external workshop repairers to ensure preorganised work is completed and liaise and coordinate, where necessary, with remote sites regarding maintenance and repair of company assets system
- Stock control including ordering of materials and parts as per Line Manager authorisation, ensuring best prices are obtained and records are maintained; receiving goods in and recording and maintaining stock controls; check 3rd party invoices to confirm pricings and stock usage; liaise with the HGV Technicians regarding stock reconciliation for impressed stock items
- Planning and organising the bookings for the MOT facility as well as scanning and electronic filing of vehicle compliance paperwork including but not limited to MOT Certificates etc.
- Monitoring of vehicle / trailer compliance dates on the garage software system and liaise with the Planning and Operations departments to ensure availability of own fleet assets and that they are presented on time.
- General administration and KPI reporting including providing updates to the business on completion times of vehicle checks / rectification.
Key skills & experience
- Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point
- Previous experience in a workshop environment
- Previous experience on the use of a garage software package
- Demonstrable knowledge of HGV/HGV trailer compliance
- Clear and confident communicator, with the ability to calmly and professionally deal with logistics professionals at all times
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Selfmotivated, possessing a high level of attention to detail
- Good Team Player
Rate of Pay
Monday to Friday - £ Inclusive of holiday pay (optional)

Salary:
£21.08 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
