CNC Machinist

Up to £38k base + PREMIUM shift uplift allowance (c£48k inc shift)
Early shift 6am 4pm
Late shift 12pm 10pm
Healthcare plan
Overtime paid at time and a half

Skilled CNC Machinist to join one of the world's leading Aerospace/Defence manufacturers in Middlesex

CNC Machinist tasks:

Set and operate multiaxis CNC machines (Bridgeport, Hurco and Protrack)
Edit programs at the machine
Carry out basic maintenance on machines and tools
Produce high quality low batch components from drawings
Self inspection of machined parts
NO OFFLINE PROGRAMMING

Essential experience:

Several years CNC Machining experience
Conversant with setting & operating CNC Mills & Lathe's
Ability to confidently set and operate CNC Mills & Lathe's
Proven Self inspection skills
Deburring

Understanding 5's, Continuous improvement, Kanban also CMM inspection knowledge

A late shift is not followed the next day by an early shift

On average 25 weekends are worked per year

An employee will work both shifts
You must have unrestricted eligibility to worth in the UK
