    Job Description

    As a Compliance Monitoring Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness of controls related to order/best execution, market abuse prevention, and conflicts of interest.

    You will conduct independent, risk-based monitoring, themed reviews, and ad hoc reviews of procedures, business, and compliance processes to identify and escalate potential compliance gaps.

    Your responsibilities include producing clear, concise reports for senior stakeholders and overseeing risk-based surveillance tasks.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conducting compliance monitoring reviews and identifying potential gaps
    • Producing reports for senior stakeholders
    • Overseeing risk-based surveillance tasks
    • Building and maintaining relationships with relevant business areas

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in compliance monitoring reviews
    • Knowledge of surveillance activities, especially regarding market abuse (desirable)
    • Background in financial services
    • Project management skills, including testing plans development and execution
    • Stakeholder management and engagement skills
