One-to-one SEND Teaching Assistant

Dorset Grade 5 XS10.4

Term time only

Hours: 5x Mornings 8:45am - 12:45pm daily and 1x Afternoon per week

(22.5 hours a week)

Fixed Term contract until Immediate or 1st
September 24 start.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, sympathetic and highly committed 1:1 Teaching and Learning Assistant within our successful primary school.

The role will primarily be to provide enhanced provision for an individual child in Lower KS- Be flexible, enthusiastic and adaptable.

Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Have recent experience and knowledge of working with pupils with SEND.
Have an NVQ Level 3 (minimum NVQ Level 2) in the field of Teaching and Learning, or equivalent and will be able to demonstrate a suitable level of English and Maths skills, equivalent to GCSE standard, which will be assessed at interview.

This is a fixed term appointment, until the end of the Summer Term 2025.
